Florianópolis: Burrito at Moochacho

BURRITO, YAAY! I haven't eaten many burritos in life, actually I think this was my third time eating burrito. But I'm risking to say that if you want to eat an awesome burrito while in Florianópolis you must go to Moochacho.

Moochacho is a cool place with indoor and outdoor space and nice attendants. They have a short menu with 3 types of burrito: meat, chicken or veggie. The meat burrito is called California and its fillings besides the meat are french fries, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. The chicken burrito is called Pollo Bandito, the chicken inside it is breaded and sauteed in tamarind sauce (fancy, huh?) and the other fillings are coleslaw, cubed avocados and cheese. The veggie burrito called Veggie Ripper has for fillings lentil patties, Spanish rice, corn sauce, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream and cheese.

All the burrito types cost R$ 20,00 (US$ 4.96), but you can always order the combo which includes tortilla chips and a sauce (besides the burrito, of course) for R$ 25,00 (US$ 6.20). As sides they have tortilla chips R$ 5,00 (US$ 1.24) and jalapeño poppers which are 3 breaded jalapeños filled with cream cheese R$ 15,00 (US$ 3.72). And you can choose among 6 different sauce types, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, chipotle, red sauce and habanero any of them cost R$ 3,00 (US$ 0.75).

As you can see burritos are their specialty and besides the food I mentioned before the rest of the menu are only the beverages—beers from R$ 8,00 (US$ 1.99) to R$ 10,00 (US$ 2.48), flavored water R$ 5,00 (US$ 1.24), orange juice R$ 5,00 (US$ 1.24), sodas R$ 5,00 (US$ 1.24) and water R$ 4,00 (US$ 1.00).

Well, I've eaten only the burrito, the California one and I loved it. The meat and the seasoning were just right and I think the size of the burrito was ideal, I didn't order the combo, but left the place veeery full. The ambient has a good vibe and decor.
